I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Backup Storage Migration
One of the most common requests to Microsoft in earlier DPM versions was the ability to move data backups from one volume to another volume. Starting with DPM 2016 Update Rollup 4 and later, you can move data backups from one volume to another; this is useful in scenarios where you want to upgrade your storage from a low-performant volume to a high-performant volume, or you want to move data sources to other volumes when an existing volume is getting full and cannot be extended.
Please note that this feature is only supported for Modern Backup Storage volumes. DPM Classic Storage to Modern Backup Storage is not supported, and DPM Classic Storage to DPM Classic Storage is not supported either. DPM Classic Storage is ...
