It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
How to do it...
With the agents installed on the file servers that need to be protected, you can enable protection for the workloads. Complete the following steps to configure protection groups:
- Open your DPM Administrator Console, click on Protection workspace, and then click on the New button in the top-left corner, as shown in the following screenshot:
- In the Welcome to the New Protection Group Wizard screen, select Servers and then click on Next > to continue.
- In the Select Group Members window, select and expand the server(s) that you intend to protect, then select the file share, volume, or mount point that you would like to protect. ...
