So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

If you only perform system state backups, you can customize the drive that DPM uses for the system state backup. You can do this on the protected server, under C:\Program Files\Microsoft Data Protection Manager\DPM\Datasources. Open the PSDataSourceConfig.XML file for editing. Change the value of <FilesToProtect> to a different drive letter, as shown in the following screenshot. Save and close the file:
