If you have a large amount of data to back up to Azure, you can use the Offline Backup option known as the Azure Import/Export service to store the initial seeding on disks during the protection group creation, and then send it via courier to a Microsoft Azure region of your choice. In this case, the incremental backups are smaller and require lesser bandwidth. This service is used to securely import large amounts of data to Azure Blob storage and Azure Files by shipping disk drives to an Azure data center.
