Definitions of Timeframes—The Triple Screen Trading Methodology

The fractal nature of the markets is such a fundamental characteristic that it has to be dealt with right up front in the definitions of terms, and then must always be handled with a consistent methodology. People often talk about “short term,” “intermediate term,” and “long term” as if there were some fixed meanings for those three terms. However, they are relative terms, and should be defined before using them.
