So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
I designed Lean OKRs as a thorough but lightweight goal-setting system for contemporary companies. In this book I have explained how they can be used to achieve big hairy audacious goals in a world of increasing uncertainty. Building on insights of the theory of constraints, Lean Thinking and Agile software development, Lean OKRs form an evolved version of the OKR strategy execution tool that has powered the transformational journeys of giants, including Google and Facebook. My method is rooted in applied behavioral science and management techniques, and builds on Toyota Kata, Cynefin, 4DX, game design and the use of integrated dashboards to facilitate critical thinking and reflection.
