When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
My greatest thanks go to my loving partner Melody and, of course, my son Kyte. Melody, for each and every moment that you have supported me, even before the idea that I should maybe write a book. Your acts of love and support have not gone unnoticed. You have encouraged me, been my sounding board on our coffee breaks, helped me with my drawings, and even taken on extra bath and bed time duties so I could burn the midnight oil. Thank you, deeply and sincerely. Kyte, thanks for your jokes over breakfast, demonstrating your magic tricks to reset my mind, your eagerness to win every board game, and reminding me to get some fresh air once in a while.
