Relevance feedback is used in [108] to generate a semantic space

on which a support vector machine is trained. Low-level features are

used in conjunction with the long-term relevance feedback data to

improve performance in the MiAlbum image retrieval system. Arti-

ﬁcial relevance feedback data was generated by running simulated

queries on a database of categorised images. The positive and neg-

ative examples were taken from the top three correct and top three

incorrect results, respectively.
