Navigation-based systems thus use an absolute (global) modelling of

the collection and include a global notion of similarity (i.e., driven by

generic feature). This is to be opposed to browsing systems, which

use a notion of similarity based on the context of the neighbourhood

of the sought items (i.e., the interpretation of the collection is made

at the light of the sought items).
