decisions with only a few experts, leaving only difﬁcult samples

8.5 CONCLUSIONS

This chapter gives an overview of multimodal information fusion

from the machine-learning perspective. Although information can

be combined at different levels (data, feature, score, rank and deci-

sion), score-level fusion offers the best trade-off between information
