Remotes
The following are the two Nikon remotes that work with the Nikon D3200 without any type of adapter:
▶ The MC-DC2 Remote Release Cord. This remote is basically a shutter-release button on a cable that attaches to the camera. The remote has a 41-inch cable, allowing you to trigger the camera from a few feet away. This remote has a retail price of $35, but can be purchased for less online.
▶ ML-L3 Wireless Remote Control. This is probably the most useful accessory that you can get for the D3200, especially at the price (less than $20). It has one button that acts as a shutter-release button when the camera Release mode is set to one of the remote releases.

AB.2 The ML-L3 remote is handy because you can trigger the camera without actually touching it.
I recommend getting a remote for the D3200, especially if you plan on doing any long exposures, self-portraits, fireworks, or even landscape photography. Using the remote allows the camera to be activated without actually touching it, which reduces any vibrations and creates a sharper image.
