About the Authors

Ramesh Vasappanavara obtained his bachelor’s degree from the University College of

Engineering, Andhra University (1972–1977) and master’s degree from Indian Institute

of Technology Kharagpur (1982–1984). He obtained his Ph.D. in Computer Science and

Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad. He has held sev-

eral senior appointments in Naval R&D, and was a Professor and Director of reputed engi-

neering schools such as Gayatri Vidya Parishad College of Engineering; Godavari Institute

of Engineering Technology, Rajahmundry; Galgotia College of Engineering, Delhi, and
