Message passing has two distinctive features. They are as follows:
• Intended for single object or a specific object.
• Each object may interpret the message in a different way. The behaviour depends on
parameters received at run time. This is also known as dynamic binding.
1.5.3 Information Hiding
The user object needing the service from another object needs only names of the methods or
services the other object is providing. All the details of implementation are hidden from the
object that requests for service.
The object that is providing the service is free to provide the service. We can also term this
as ‘responsibility’.
