Shipping Equipment Overseas
Whenever equipment is sent overseas, shipping lists, detailing the equipment’s description, serial number, country of origin, size, weight and value, etc., must be prepared in advance for the benefit of all the Customs Officers and Shipping Agents who are likely to be encountered along the way. The permutations of what items go together on any particular job are so vast that it is impossible to have shipping lists printed in advance but every detail is listed on PANAVISION’s mainframe computer so that any shipping list is only a keyboard away.
