I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Changing the PANAFLEX Reflex System
An additional advantage of PANAVISION’s dual focal plane and mirror shutter system is the possibility it affords to exchange the normal rotating reflex mirror for a fixed pellicle reflex mirror.
Although now superseded by the PANAVISION flicker-free PANAVID CCD video assist system, PANAFLEX and PANASTAR cameras can achieve a greatly enhanced, flicker-free video assist image by replacing the spinning mirror, which reflects light to the reflex viewing system intermittently for only 44% of the exposure/pulldown time with a membrane-thin partial mirror which reflects approximately 33% of the light all of the time.
