I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Preparing a PANAFLEX Camera for Hand Holding
Before converting a PANAFLEX camera from a mounted configuration to a hand-held mode it is necessary to have the following items at hand:
- 500' or 250' magazine (usually)
- Right hand grip
- Left hand grip
- Shoulder rest
- Short eyepiece
- Belt or onboard battery.
If the camera is to be used in the hand-held mode (except for the PANAFLEX-X, which is not intended for hand-held use) first change from the long to the short eyepiece. If the camera is mounted on a PANAHEAD it is usually easier to make this change before dismounting the camera. Similarly, it may be found easier to change from a 1000' top mounted magazine to a 250' or 500' rear mounted configuration and to fit the right hand grip while the camera ...
