Academy Accolades
In 1960, for the first time, films shot with PANAVISION lenses, Anatomy of a Murder, Ben Hur and The Diary of Anne Frank, received Academy Award Nominations for Best Picture of the Year. Since then, over a period of 36 years, and out of a total of 180 nominated pictures, no less than 30 serviced by PANAVISION have won the most coveted of all Oscars.
