So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Since its introduction with Adobe's CS2 suite of applications, Bridge has continued to evolve into an essential part of many a creative arsenal. In addition to providing a centralized resource for file organization and sharing, Bridge includes a powerful technology called Adobe XMP (Extensible Markup Platform), which allows for metadata tagging, keywords, grouping, and rating.
The latest incarnation of Bridge brings with it a number of new features and enhancements, including a notable boost in performance. Creative Suite veterans who may have been turned off by Bridge's less-than-speedy performance in the past may want to have another look.
Bridge is a stand-alone application and can be launched by double-clicking on its icon in the file system of your PC or Mac; or you can access it from within Photoshop (or other Creative Suite applications) by using one of these methods:
From Photoshop, click the Go to Bridge button located on the toolbar.
