In this chapter you learned about the Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Data Mining Add-ins for Office 2007. You first learned about the various features of Table Analytics tools that help you to analyze tabular data in your Excel spreadsheets. If you recall, the features in Table Analytics were more intuitive operations on your spreadsheet and didn't use any specific data mining terms. After the Table Analytics you learned the Data Mining tools that help you to create and visualize data mining models on tabular data in Excel or even from external data sources. Finally, you learned to visualize mining models using Visio 2007 and the ability to add annotation to your mining models so that you can present them efficiently to the business decision-makers.
