I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Running Lighthouse from the Chrome Developer Tools
The easiest way to use Lighthouse is from the Chrome Developers Tools. By now, you should know how to open these tools. All desktop browsers contain Developer tools and they can be opened by pressing F12 or Ctrl + Shift + I.
Once the Developer tools are open ,you have multiple options. Lighthouse is one of those options. It is labeled Audits and is presented as the last native tab. If you are like me, you may have an extension that has parked a custom tab in the tools as well. They are listed after the Audits tab:
