The service worker registration object

Registering a service worker creates an entry in a service worker registry that's maintained by the user agent. When you register or call the getRegistration or getRegistrations methods, they return a reference to the matching registration object(s).

The registration object contains the following members:

Properties

• scope: The service worker's scope
• installing: If the service worker is installing, it returns a ServiceWorker object, otherwise it returns undefined
• waiting: If the service worker is waiting, it returns a ServiceWorker object, otherwise it returns undefined
• active: If the service worker is active or activating, it returns a ServiceWorker object, otherwise it returns undefined
