Intuitively, we might think that if there are more watchers, there will be more open issues in the repository. Let's check our hypothesis by checking the distribution of these two variables:

Comparing the number of watchers and open issues for the two projects, we see a bunch of repositories clustered with less than 1,000 watchers and 50 open issues. There's a lot more variation in the two metrics for the open source repos than those for deep learning. ...
