I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Selecting the endpoint
We have selected two endpoints that cover all the data needed for our analysis. We will use version 3 of the YouTube API, which introduced major changes compared to the previous versions regarding all aspects: endpoints, limitations, parameters, and so on.
The search method allows us to list all the videos related to the search query:

The commentThread method gives us access to comments under each video:

It's worth noticing that in the past you were only allowed to extract up to 1,000 comments per video, but the recent changes in the API allow you to extract as many as you need. The only requirement ...
