So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Community structure
Lastly, a great application of network analysis is the detection of communities. The graph we create using the relationship between multiple users allows us to figure out certain clusters that are grouped together in the overall network on specific criteria. Thereafter, these clusters can be examined in detail to find characteristics that describe them in commonality. Digging community characteristics is beyond the scope of the chapter but we'll show how algorithmically we can detect communities based on graph structures.
