However, this does not mean that you’ve reached the end. It turns out that scaling a Rails application and the business use case that typically accompanies it is not only about returning a response lightning fast. In this chapter, we will explore the difficulties associated with scaling a Rails application (and, more in general, a monolith) and what you can do to minimize those issues. I will call this set of problems “scaling teams.”
