I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Scaling with Human-First Technology
I will be honest with you and state the obvious: I do not know what the future of Ruby on Rails, and software engineering in general, will look like in 2044. Still, I would bet that certain evolutionary patterns will continue, at least while the bases of traditional computing are not replaced with something like quantum computing. I believe that we will keep building higher levels of abstraction on top of the ones that we already have. These new abstractions could take any kind of form: maybe they will be similar to our current programming languages, but there is the chance that they may not.
