Chapter 18. Cryptographic Algorithms
This chapter describes cryptographic algorithms that can be specified in XML Security by a well-known URI. These algorithms are characterized by complex logical and arithmetic manipulation of binary octet strings. See Chapter 17 for an overview of algorithms and Chapter 19 for descriptions of non-cryptographic algorithms that are XML or text oriented.
