11.1 トポロジー
モジュラーモノリスアーキテクチャは、その名の通り、モノリシックなアーキテクチャである。したがって、単一のソフトウェアユニットとしてデプロイされる。たとえば、Webアーカイブ（WAR）ファイル、.NETの単一アセンブリ、Javaプラットフォームのエンタープライズアーカイブ（EAR）ファイルなどだ。モジュラーモノリスは、技術的役割ではなくビジネスドメインによって編成されるドメインによって分割されたアーキテクチャであるため、その基本的な構造パターンはドメインごとに機能がグループ化された単一のデプロイメントユニットとなる。図11-1に、モジュラーモノリスの典型的なトポロジーを示す。
