I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
HTML’s Role as an Output Format
Without a doubt, the most common transformations today convert XML data into HTML. This is not surprising when you consider the size and scope of the Web; however, consider too that there are many specialized devices that recognize at least a limited form of HTML. For example, refreshable Braille displays make Web viewing accessible to the blind. Some mobile devices, including cell phones, also recognize a limited form of HTML. Even set-top box devices recognize at least some HTML.
Rendering data in HTML is a task that’s unlikely to go away any time soon. With the standardization of XHTML, a reformulation of HTML to conform to the well-formed rules of XML, new applications are likely to recognize HTML in this ...
