XSLT and .NET
Chapter 9, “Server-Side Transformations Using ASP,” showed how you can transform XML using Microsoft’s Active Server Pages technology. However, Microsoft is expected to release a new development platform by the time this book reaches print, referred to as .NET, that represents a quantum leap forward for both Windows and Web developers using Microsoft’s IIS. The .NET framework introduces features like a common language runtime that unifies programming and scripting languages while managing the underlying code.
