I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

One of the great joys of teaching at a university is the experience of learning from students. It happens in surprising ways, not the least of which is how they respond to questions that ask them to explain, expand and clarify. Their answers sometimes lead to explorations of new contexts for these questions, fresh interpretations of situations and new ways of looking at problems. Their experiences in answering questions that require them to say why they agree or disagree with a proposition help them to build personal confidence in their knowledge of a topic, boost their ability to debate a point and develop as people.
