So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
CHAPTER 2: DEFINITIONS AND CLARIFICATIONS
Those reading this book will undoubtedly be involved in cyber security and data protection, so I won’t be explaining terms such as ‘encryption’ or ‘VPN’. I have to assume a certain level of understanding, and I wouldn’t want readers to think this book is for the general public – it’s not. However, this said, I do believe some terms require a little exploration and explanation because they are words and phrases that are often debated, and I want to give you my take on what they mean so that we can be clear from the outset. This will help you read the rest of the book because you’ll see where I stand, and then you can make a conscious decision to agree or disagree with these definitions.
