CHAPTER 6: KNOW YOURSELF

When a good fighter steps into the ring with their opponent, they have invariably trained their bodies (and mind) as much as they possibly can. Hours of training, and eating and sleeping well, are necessary to win. But a great fighter does more than focus on themselves. A great fighter understands the importance of knowing their opponent’s strengths and weaknesses so that they can exploit these when the fight begins.

This is what Sun Tzu speaks of when he suggests that it is as essential to know our enemy as much as we know ourselves.
