WHY ORGANISATIONS TEND TO START WITH GENDER DIVERSITY

In this chapter we discuss why organisations have tended to start with gender diversity and putting support structures in place to achieve gender diversity goals.

Mainly it is because they can count the numbers of men and women, and organisations are data driven. This is not good enough – every aspect of diversity needs to be invested in, and organisations also need to invest in inclusion.
