Flatten All Layer Effects

Just like the next script on the list (Flatten All Masks), the Flatten All Layer Effects script makes me nervous. The concept behind it is to make Layer Effects such as Stroke, Drop Shadow, etc., permanent. I think the reason for this script is that some people have found that when they attempt to flatten an image, some of the Layer Effects don’t display properly; so their impulse is to apply/flatten all the Layer Effects first. My suggestion is to try Save As and make a flattened copy—maybe I’ve just been lucky, but by doing this I’ve never encountered unusual Layer Effects results. So I’m not going to tell you not to use this script, but I think there are better, more flexible choices.
