Plenty of sources are available for finding and downloading actions, including both free and paid options. Although many great resources are out there, it’s important to remember that the actions must be created “properly.” What I mean by that is all necessary steps must be included, such as setting colors back to the default or ensuring that the document is in the correct mode. In the past, I have downloaded a promising action or two, only to find that it stopped after the first step and displayed some weird error message I couldn’t understand. (A potentially frustrating thing about shared actions is that the error messages often don’t really help you understand why it isn’t working.)
