Previously, we looked at the Auto-Align Layers command to align a series of layers in one document. In a similar fashion, the Load Files into Stack script (File > Scripts) provides a great way to automatically load a series of files into one multilayered document. You can then choose to use the Auto-Align Layers command or check the Attempt to Automatically Align Source Images in the Load Layers dialog (Figure 3.7). (Is it only me that finds it amusing that Adobe uses the word “attempt”? It’s like a built-in disclaimer if it doesn’t work.)
