Insert Conditional

If you have Photoshop CC or the Creative Cloud version of Photoshop CS6, you can add a condition to your actions. Let’s say that you have a folder full of landscape and portrait photos and you need them all to be in portrait mode. That means you need to rotate only the photos that are in landscape mode, and that’s where Insert Conditional is the answer. In order for a conditional action to work, you need to consider a couple of things.

• Record the action (or actions) to use in your conditional action (in our example, we need a simple action that rotates 90 degrees).

• Put this action (or actions) into the same set that contains the conditional action.
