EFFECTIVE LEADERS MAKE FAST DECISIONS
Business builders are decision makers. They get an idea. They talk it over with someone whose opinion they trust. And then they make a decision to can it or go forward. They know that the sooner they put an idea to the test, the sooner they will find out if it is a good one.
My rule, as you know, is “Ready, Fire, Aim.”
Ready means spending some time and serious effort getting your idea “good enough.” Fire means test-marketing it. If it sells as well as you thought it would, you have something worth marketing on a larger scale. You will have plenty of time to fine-tune it (Aim it) after it’s been proven to be profitable.
“No employer today is independent of those about him. He cannot succeed alone, no matter how great his ability or capital. Business today is more than ever a question of cooperation.”
