Be Mission-Oriented
There is a difference between battle tactics and war strategy. Battles are important but only insofar as they further the objective of winning the war. A key element of thinking for ourselves in the twenty-first century is to deploy our attention toward objectives and not to be distracted by the many battles along the way. Working with experts and specialists, a necessary part of life in the twenty-first century, comes with an elevated risk of pyrrhic victories that might prevent us from achieving our goals. To mitigate this possibility, we must always be mission-oriented.
