I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Life is complex, and there is simply no way any of us can know everything. The volume of information available at our fingertips is overwhelming, driving us toward experts and technologies that offer to overcome our choice anxiety and fear of missing out. Unfortunately, the very nature of expertise—in all its forms—is that narrow depth is prized over breadth. One impact is widespread specialization, leading to siloed thinking and blinding focus that often produces the very outcomes we seek to avoid. And as we develop a dependency upon expert insight, we fail to think for ourselves as we obediently follow the guidance offered.
