This book is based on the lessons learned from the SVPG partners as we've spent the past 20 years helping companies move to the product model.
We wanted to share what we've learned far beyond the relative handful of companies that we are able to work with personally.
As we said earlier, nothing in this book was invented by us. We simply share what we have seen work in the top product companies, and we help others adopt those principles and behaviors.
Much of our content is informed by the global product community. When we publish articles, give conference talks, and host webinars and workshops, we test out many of the techniques and case studies that we write about. People have always been generous with their feedback, and many send us additional questions. Much of this book was inspired by these interactions.
While much of what we write about is inspired by the community, we work very hard to make sure we explain the concepts in the best way we can, and for that we depend on a set of expert reviewers.
