Configuration File Directives
When Apache starts or restarts, it reads the main server con-
figuration file from the default location, or from the location
specified with the
-f command-line argument. Comments can
be included in configuration files by starting the line with a
hash sign (
#). Blank lines and leading white space are
ignored.
The following directives affect the location of secondary con-
figuration files.
Ser verRoot
ServerRoot directory
Contexts: G
Default:
/usr/local/apache
Root directory for the server. Relative paths for other directives, such
as AccessConfig, are taken relative to this directory. May be overrid-
den with the -d command-line option.
