So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Cer tificates
Certificates contain the subject’s public key, information about
the certificate, the identity of the subject and of the issuer
(certificate authority, or CA), and a digital signature that is a
checksum of the information in the certificate encrypted with
the issuer’s private key. The validity of the signature can be
checked by calculating the checksum and comparing it with
the signature decrypted with the issuer’s public key. If the
issuing CA’s certificate is available, it is used to authenticate
