Controls the verbosity of logging on a scale from 0 to 9. Zero disables

logging while levels greater than two may be useful for debugging

but will have a severe impact upon performance.

Access Restrictions

Access to documents can be restricted on the basis of the

remote host, the credentials supplied (such as username and

password), or other information, such as HTTP headers,

attributes of the resource, or even time of day. Access controls

are evaluated in three phases after URL translation. The first

phase, controlled by the following directives, performs access

controls that are not based on user credentials. The second

and third phases authenticate the credentials and check the

authenticated user against authorization rules; these phases

are described in the section ‘‘Phases d’authentification et

d’autorisation.”
