ExpiresDefault mod_expires
ExpiresDefault expiry-spec
Contexts: GVSF (Indexes)
Defines how the value of Expires headers is calculated for documents
that do not match any ExpiresByType directives.
Other Attributes
Apache provides a directive for enabling generation of Con-
tent-MD5 headers and two methods of providing values for
other HTTP headers: either specified in the server configura-
tion files or in separate meta-information files.
ContentDigest
ContentDigest { ON|OFF }
Contexts: GVSF (Options) Compatibility: 1.1 +
Default: OFF
Enables or disables the generation of Content-MD5 headers for static
documents served by the Apache core module. This header provides
an integrity check but imposes a performance penalty on the server
as the values are recomputed for each request.
Header mod_headers
Header { set|append|add|unset } header value
Contexts: GVSF (FileInfo)
Allows arbitrary HTTP response headers to be added to, merged, or
removed from the server response.
Meta-information can be stored in metafiles that contain addi-
tional HTTP headers to be returned with the responses to
requests for corresponding files.
Content-type and Status
headers in the file are acted upon.
