RLimitMEM

RLimitMEM { bytes |max } [ bytes |max ]

Default: operating system defaults

Specifies soft and hard memory resource limits, expressed in bytes

per process, for processes forked by Apache.

RLimitNPROC

RLimitNPROC { nprocs |max } [ nprocs |max ]

Contexts: GVSF Compatibility: 1.2 +

Default: operating system defaults

Specifies soft and hard per-user process limits for processes forked by

Apache. Note that if CGI processes run under the same user ID as

that used by Apache for processing requests, this limit will affect

Apache itself.

Request Processing

Apache processes requests in a number of phases, calling

each handler registered for a particular phase in turn until all

handlers have been called, or until a handler indicates either

that processing of the phase is complete or that an error has

occurred. The phases are listed here in order of occurrence:

Post-r ead

Initial phase after the request headers have been parsed.

URL translation

Translates the URL into the filesystem namespace.

Header parsing

First phase in which

<Directory> sections can be used

(this phase is not used by any of the standard modules).

Access control

Applies access controls not based on user credentials.
