So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Planning the Track
Remember this:

The most critical, technical specification is how the film will be heard. This is often up to the viewer, not you. |

You can create a track so that everything gets heard the way you want. It just requires a little planning in terms of spectrum, time, and soundstage. With a little more thought, you can create a track that adds interest to your film. |

An important part of postproduction should happen before you start editing. That’s when you plan technical and budgetary details, and decide how the track will get done. |
