Getting Audio into the Computer

Remember this:

•	Digital audio transfers are usually flawless. Any problems can often be resolved by changing a few settings.
•	Analog transfers require a little more care with levels. Unfortunately, you can’t automatically trust the meters. Some calibration is almost always necessary.
•	Lipsync problems may seem intractable, particularly when lipsync involves film as well as digital media. Understanding the principles will help you resolve them.
