How to Use This Book
This audit of human resources is a four-step process: information gathering, evaluation, analysis, and action planning. Each step has been subdivided into 11 key result areas of human resources, and each step begins with specific and detailed instructions. Here is an overview of the steps in the process.
Step 1—Information Gathering: In this step you are asked a series of questions that will enable you to collect the information necessary to evaluate and analyze the human resources function.
Step 2—Evaluation: Your responses to the information gathering questions are evaluated against a scoring, developed by our Advisory Board.
